Opie and Anthony suspended

Townhall.com is reporting that controversial duo have been suspended for 30 days.

This follows on the heels of Don Imus being fired for his comments on the Rutgers Women's Basketball team. Although the comments made by Imus, and Opie and Anthony were totally distasteful, the reaction to them hints at a large movement to abridge free speech of many in the modern media. Earlier ,I spoke of the attempt by self-appointed Commander and Chief nancy Pelosi to reinstate the so-called fairness doctrine. Stop this, or any attempt, to infringe on the right of free speech.

Another Attempt At Compromise

   As we speak government officals are meeting in an attempt to reach a compromise on the sticky political issue of illegal immigration. Even though polls clearly show that a majority of Americans want strict enforcement of immigration laws, Washington still ignores us. We must take action, e-mail, call or fax you representative and let them know how you feel concerning our borders. To survive as a society we must have strong borders.

Return of the Fairness Doctrine?

   The self-appointed Commander and Cheif Nancy Pelosi is at it again. According to several media reports Commander Pelosi is attempting to revive the Fairness Doctrine. This legislation would force media outlets to give equal time to liberal talkers. As is typical with liberals, if you can't win the debate, just silence those you disagree with. We must stand up to this attempt to silence free speech, take a moment to contact the speakers office and register your displeasure with this legislation.
